I’m not quite certain what it is our beloved Homeland Security Advisory System is currently advising people to do about homeland security, but when this classy cartel of Australian hard-rockers finally decide to invade our shores with their bombastic brand of “heavy” on a totally unsuspecting American populace …

Well,  let’s just say that it won’t really matter much after that.

    TRUTH BE KNOWN, Juke Kartel has already infiltrated our borders and is holed up in some swanky 7-bedroom secret hideout somewhere in the Los Angeles, CA. area, where word has it they are extremely busy plotting out their next big musical maneuver.  One of the bands biggest achievements to date is being the first ever unsigned artist to perform at the MTV Awards Australia.  JK has paid their road dues as evidenced by a grueling last several years:  two Melbourne stadium gigs opening for Nickelback, a supporting national arena tour of the USA and Canada, headlining their own Australian national “homecoming” tour and cinching a main support spot on the Seether tour. Clearly, Juke  Kartel is a band willing to put as much energy/effort/responsibility into promoting their music as they do creating it.  The guys spent most of last year recording their debut album “Nowhere Left To Hide” (Emporium Music) at Seattle’s renowned London Bridge Studios with legendary rock producer Rick Parashar (Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback).  “Juke Kartel is one of the best rock bands to come out in a long time.” says Rick. “They definitely are on their way to being an arena rock band with a 60′s, grunge-like quality that gives them an edge.”

    So what’s up with the next big musical move?  Well, Juke Kartel is focusing full attention on breaking into the US music scene in a very big way.  Like as in TV series BIG.  Fairly soon, Juke Kartel teams up with bad boy rocker Tommy Lee to start filming  “On The Road with Juke Kartel”, a brand new TV reality series based on the bands’ journey as foreign artists taking on America.  Expect much more to start happening very, very shortly.
